Charleen and Perry got married today! I would have loved to have been there! I can just picture that party that is going on right now in my head. Lucky people... Oh well.
It was so hot here today. I hung out with Allan mostly. We rang over the west side pet store so that Allan could buy some cichlids for his new tank. I got to hold them on my lap on the way home. Poor fish. I'm surprised they survived the bumpy roads of Saint John on the trip. Then we hung out and played Wallace and Grommit for a bit. We had a crazy downpour around 6 that was similar to yesterdays freak thunder and lightning storm. Very weird.
Yesterday we had our first LEAN event at work and I managed to clean out the filing cabinet (a job and a half let me tell you) and my desk! It now looks like I moved out of the cubicle. After I was finished I didn't really want to do anything because I was afraid of messing up the desk. Now the trick is to keep it looking like this. We're being graded so I'll have to!
Speaking of work, I accepted a new position on Wednesday. I'm now the program leader for store signage and contractor, installed, commercial, institutional and export sales marketing. I'm really excited about it! Now I'm slowly passing along my old stuff so that I can fully concentrate on this new position.
I was also the winner for the renaming of the apartment complex! Pretty cool stuff. I have a $200 gift card from M&M Meats coming to me this week.
Tomorrow's plan involves much cleaning and stamping. But cleaning first. Wish me luck!
