One of my favorite things about fall is that it brings on the craft fairs! I send everything I make home to mom and she mans a table for me back there. I've never actually tried to sell here so I don't know if it would go over well or not, but anyway... I've spent the past few weeks getting ready for a sale on October 28th. I'll have to send this stuff home soon so now I have to kick it into overdrive. Last weekend the TV in my craft room broke and I can't stay in there without the distraction of the background noise so I didn't get anything done this weekend until Allan brought over his old TV last night. Now my old broken TV has to go, but for now it's on the floor. (As seen in the pictures). You'll also see a wrapped Christmas present. I am on the ball this year! Anyway, on with the pictures! This first picture up there is a framed thing I put together using a chipboard letter, a key charm, a chipboard photo corner (covered in glossy glaze, but the pic doesn't show that). It's a shadow frame and it looks really cool in real life.
This next picture shows some of the assorted items I've been working on. Two Christmas planners, a garden planner, a photo album, address book, another framed print, small notebook, a couple of paperclip bookmarks...
This picture shows more of the assortment I have. A few to-do list magnets, a door hanger (there are more of these, but I didn't include them) and a journal in the background there.
This last picture shows two of the framed prints and the bathtime in a cup things that I put together. Inside each one is a bath poof, a bottle of bubble bath and some bath salts. They look really cute irl. Also in the left corner you can see one of the mini scrapbook kits. It includes a 3x3 mini scrapbook and a little bag of embellishments including Prima flowers, ribbon, brads, die cuts, etc. I've never tried to sell most of this stuff before so we'll see how it goes!In past shows I've done well with clothespin magnets (I made 100 this time), post it note holders, journals, address books, notepads, shopping lists... Usually the cheapest stuff that I can make, so I focus mainly on the small items and throw in a few larger ticket items. I sent mom home with $500 worth of inventory in August and $300 in June so I'm hoping it will be a good show!
